EMDR Intensives
There are many ways we can structure our time together. Here are a few options:
-A 2 day weekday intensive package that includes 10 contact hours:
60 minute initial assessment
2 mornings of 4 hours each of EMDR therapy (8 hours in total, with breaks as needed)
60 minute follow up session
Customized workbook
Fee: $2,750
-Meet every few weeks for 4 hour blocks of time until goals are met.
-We could also set up an intensive program tailored to your schedule and therapeutic needs.
My hourly rate for intensives (intake, EMDR therapy, follow up session) is $275.
Ongoing intensive therapy is available if you are wanting long-term support towards several treatment goals.
Can my insurance help pay for weekly sessions and intensives?
For insurance purposes, I am considered an out-of-network provider. Clients pay my fee directly to me and many seek reimbursement. If you have out-of-network benefits, then some of the costs may be covered. It's best to determine the exact details of your policy ahead of time, including what benefits are available regarding out-of-network providers and if your insurance will reimburse several hours of therapy in one day or one week (for intensives). Most insurance plans do not cover more than a 60 minute session of therapy per day, so any remaining time will be out-of-pocket. Please note that I cannot guarantee nor take responsibility for your reimbursement. I will provide you with a Superbill for all direct contact therapy services.
The No Surprises Act
Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
